Do you need an account to use Zoom?
No, you can simply join as a participant without creating an account.

How do I join a Zoom meeting?
You will be sent a link to Zoom with an ID and password. You can join a meeting by clicking the meeting link or going to https://join.zoom.us and entering in the meeting ID and password.

Do I need a webcam to join on Zoom?
Yes. We encourage everyone to participate and to see your colleagues.

How do I join computer/device audio?
Your device must have the microphone enabled. On most devices, you can join computer/device audio by clicking Join Audio, Join with Computer Audio, or Audio to access the audio settings.

Can I use a Bluetooth headset?
Yes, as long as the Bluetooth device is compatible with the computer or mobile device that you are using.

How do I control my audio during a session?
Please be aware that others can hear any noise from your organisation/home, therefore it is advised to have your microphone on mute until you are ready to speak. You can mute and unmute the microphone simply by clicking on it.

Where should I position my device during the session?
Ensure you are comfortable and in a quiet area where you can concentrate on your learning session. Have any natural sunlight in front of you and not behind you so that you can be seen on the camera.
