Let's Talk Flu

Let's Talk Flu
  today

It always feels strange to be talking about flu when we are in the mist of a heatwave. But preparation makes good practical sense when the season is just around the corner.

As an organisation, we feel that learning about flu requires the full interactive experience of a classroom. Exploring the disease, knowing the essential documentation to support the team, understanding immunology and the practical application of how to administer a vaccine. All of which will be included in our one-day training course.

To book your place go to the link below:

Influenza Vaccination Training Programme for HCAs and allied HCPs

For those of you who are already proficient in giving flu and have worked previous seasons, we also have our half day immunisation update, with a focus on seasonal flu. This course will refresh current knowledge and review guidance and technique to ensure that you are up to date and prepared for the forthcoming season.

This session is via Zoom and booking can be made via this link:

Influenza Update for HCAs and HCPs

You will see that there are less courses available on the J2S website and this is due to Julia and I reducing our capacity. As we move towards retirement, our focus of teaching will be with HCAs and NAs only. Any registered nurse and paramedic training will be continued via Wessex LMC and NHS England and both links are below:

Enjoy your summer!
