This VIRTUAL half day workshop is provided for Health Care Assistants in Primary care who are currently removing sutures and staples and feel they would benefit from some theoretical learning and evidence of practice; or it has been identified as a potential new learning need.
The workshop will explore the knowledge and skills needed to risk assess a wound prior to removing sutures or staples. All delegates attending this workshop will receive a competency framework for their portfolios of evidence to be observed by their Assessor and signed off in practice.
