This course is aimed at NMPS and Advanced clinical practitioners /AHPs involved in medicines management.
This comprehensive course is designed for all non-medical prescribers (NMPs) who have a prescribing qualification and are patient facing. It is essential that NMPs remain up to date with best practice. This workshop will be provided by an expert pharmacist who is an active prescriber in primary care. The course covers key areas including professional accountability, clinical governance, and. medico-legal issues.
A blend of PowerPoint presentations, case studies, group work and quizzes will be used to look at evidence-based practice and how to avoid prescribing errors. Practitioners will gain information and updates related to current topical issues such as anti-microbial prescribing.
Resources and tools for prescribing and understanding therapeutics will be provided at this event.
