This half day workshop is provided by a specialist sexual health nurse with extensive experience in primary care. For any health professional (GPN, AHP, NA) who is keen to develop an understanding of sexual health and sexually transmitted diseases.
Learning through a blend of discussion, PowerPoint and a quiz, Claire will provide an overview of the most common STIs and information on how to recognise them. Widening understanding of sexual health to destigmatise and provide clinicians with the confidence to provide a comprehensive assessment in any patient consultation and improve patient health outcomes with appropriate testing and screening.
