This excellent training programme will provide HCAs with the essential knowledge and skills required to support the Practice Nurse and GP in undertaking diabetic reviews. The purpose of this course is to provide a safe foundation of knowledge and a competency base.

On this course each HCA will be provided with an individual portfolio where they can collect information on diabetes, and evidence of competency with achievement and skills in Diabetes which will be documented as evidence for CQC and professional development.
