This three-day programme is designed for those clinicians working in Primary Care and seeing patients for long-term condition reviews in asthma or COPD.
The course is at foundational level, offering an introduction to the disease processes and providing the knowledge and skills to complete a clinical consultation for an annual review.
As a portfolio course each delegate will receive a hard backed portfolio and comprehensive resources to support the development of a respiratory CPD folder. This resource is a working document to be developed and built on, utilising the tools for individual practice.
It is important to attend all three days to fully appreciate the complexities of respiratory conditions and there is an expectation that some self-directed learning and preparation work will be completed to support the classroom days.
Those clinicians wishing to advance with respiratory care will be provided with details of how to access the next level training programmes appropriate to their speciality.
