HEE Wessex are providing funding for these courses.
A fully funded, accredited five day programme for Nurses. This course aims to develop the skills for Practice Nurses and Nurse Practitioners working in Primary Care.
This introductory course will enable you to critically evaluate, audit and develop the care required for clients presenting with minor illness.
Following the course you will be able to:
- Holistically and effectively assess client need using a systematic framework
- Critically appraise the evidence base and implement care for the three most common presenting minor illnesses
- Audit and evaluate the care provided and use the data to develop and enhance the service you are providing.
Award: 20 credits at Degree at Degree or Master’s level
Entry Requirements: Applicants must be healthcare professionals working in primary care.
