Brief Outline of Experience
Wendy is a qualified midwife with over fifteen years of experience across a variety of clinical settings. She has enjoyed working in leadership positions and specialist roles covering all aspects of safeguarding and child protection. Wendy is dually registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council as a Midwife and Teacher and has worked as a lecturer practitioner for nine years, within a university setting. She provides safeguarding children and adult education training to many professional groups including health care, education, police, social care and voluntary groups. Her leadership roles in the NHS brings a wealth of clinical and academic experience to her teaching syllabus.
